:: Abstract Writing Guidelines

Guidelines for Writing an Article Abstract

This guideline has been prepared for the authors submitting papers to the ^2nd National and ^1st International Congress on Climate Change and Health. Compliance with all the instructions outlined herein is mandatory for all contributors.

Please prepare and submit your abstract according to the following instructions:

• Submission Format: Abstracts must be submitted as a standalone document.

• Types of Papers: The Congress welcomes original research articles, review articles, and lessons learned containing updated and novel scientific content.

• Formatting Template: A formatting template is available on the Congress website at ccchr2026.dums.ac.ir.

• Abstract Specifications:

1. The abstract must be between 300 - 600 words, typed in Times New Roman, font size 12, single-spaced, and submitted in Microsoft Word (*.doc) format.

2. The text must be formatted as a single column, using 12pt Times New Roman font, with 30-millimeter (3-cm) margins on all four sides of an A4-sized page.

3. Keywords: A minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 keywords should be provided, separated by commas and listed in a single line.

4. If footnotes are necessary, they must be typed in Times New Roman, 9pt font.

5. It is mandatory to include 1 to 3 references at the end of the abstract. These references must also be uploaded separately in the designated field during the abstract submission process.

6. The abstract must include the following sections, in order:

• Title: Font: Times New Roman, Font size: 14 pt, Bold

• Authors: Font: Times New Roman, Font size: 12 pt

• Institutional Affiliations: Font Times New Roman, Font size: 12 pt

• Corresponding Author : Font: Times New Roman, Font size: 12 pt, Italic

• Abstract Body: Font: Times New Roman, Font size: 12 pt

• Introduction: Font: Times New Roman, Font size: 12 pt

• Methods: Font: Times New Roman, Font size: 12 pt

• Results: Times New Roman, Font size: 12 pt

• Conclusion: Font: Times New Roman, Font size: 12 pt

• Keywords: Font: Times New Roman, Font size: 12 pt, Italic

• Reference (1 to 3 references) ………

7. Abstracts must be submitted via the Congress website: https://ccchr2026.dums.ac.ir.

• Important Notes:

1.      The determination of the presentation format (poster or oral) shall be exclusively at the discretion of the congress scientific committee and reviewers.

2.      Each presenter may submit one to a maximum of two paper abstracts for a poster or oral presentation.

3.      The corresponding author must be a faculty member or a technical expert from a related industrial unit. Presenters must also register for the Congress.

4.      Poster presentations and paper abstracts must be presented in person. The scientific committee may also consider other presentation methods, including virtual formats. Any new possibilities will be promptly communicated to participants.

5.      All accepted paper abstracts will be published as PDF files in a 'Collection of Abstracts' booklet after the congress.

6.      When submitting the paper abstract on the congress website, ensure that the authors' information is correctly entered and the abstract file is accurately uploaded.

7.      Researchers are informed that abstracts generated by artificial intelligence will only be accepted if their use complies with the university's ethical guidelines on the application of AI. Additionally, any form of plagiarism (copying from other sources) is strictly prohibited.

8.      Using software such as LIP (Language Interface Pack) or other text editing tools can assist authors in editing their text.

9.      Paper abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee and congress reviewers, and the results will be announced through the congress website.

10.  The responsibility for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of all content in the paper abstract lies with the corresponding author.
